Facilitation of Plagiarism Detection Software (PDS)
To uphold academic integrity and ensure originality in scholarly work, the library provides access to plagiarism detection tools for both postgraduate and doctoral research. Copyleaks is used for screening Masters’ theses, offering detailed similarity reports and source tracking to help students refine their submissions. For Ph.D. research, the library utilizes Drillbit Extreme, a robust plagiarism detection tool designed to handle advanced research-level content.
An Anti-Plagiarism Cell established at the Central Library has now been functional for more than 4 years. During 2024-25 more than 450 users were facilitated with this service by allotting them with authentic user ID and passwords.
