About

• To Plan, implement and execute various extension programmes in temperate and cold arid agriculture, animal husbandry and allied sectors in close association with the state line departments.
• To provide platform for interface between farmers, researchers and extension functionaries to address the problems of agriculture and allied sectors.
• To disseminate knowledge and proven farm technologies to the extension functionaries of the line departments and farmers.
• To act as a resource and knowledge centre of agricultural technologies for supporting initiatives of public and private sector for improving the agricultural economy of the state, especially Northern part of the state.
• Monitoring and evaluation of KVKs and ATIC activities on regular basis for achieving their objectives.
