THEME & GOAL

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

A.   Enhance Teaching and Learning ability of students

 

  • Make Teacher relevant in GOOGLE age
    • train teachers in new pedagogy
    • shift from instruction to learning paradigm
    • shift from being teacher centric to student-centric
  • Align classroom ambience &learning environment with contemporary pedagogical philosophy
    • integrate SMART classrooms with e-learning and global communities as effective modes and means of instruction that expand access to learning
    • Modernise the labs and other physical infrastructure for individual bench training, and ambience of quality student life in the campuses
  • Cutting-edge Curriculum
    • Update curriculum to make it dynamic and in tune with current developments in agri-science and technology, in consultation with industry and peers in education with a focus on effective bench training for skill development
  • Peer Assisted Learning for academically / linguistically week students. Led by senior students (PGs) outside classroom through interactive discussions on language and curriculum.

B.   STEAM Creativity and Innovation by blending STEM with Arts

 

  • Underpin STEM pedagogy with Arts:
  • STEMimmerses students in the application and integration of Science, Technology, Engineering and M
  • STEM shall be blended with Arts into a unique Foundation Program to STEAM curiosity, innovation, creativity, social skills,

Foundation Program would be a 

unique 4-week festive-cum-immersion program aimed at orienting fresh students across all colleges towards a holistic education that develops a broad set of life and social skills. Legends, philanthropists, intellectuals, celebrities, creative artists, industrialists, historians, political leaders, educationists, scientists, musicians, sports stars etcshall be involved in this one month long Inspiring program on creativity, leadership & communication, ethics, social awareness, and physical fitness. This will also help the students to express their unique interests and aptitudes other than science, to be groomed and encouraged.

  • ExplorerVisits:Unique annual 3 week student visit program to different regions / institutes / industry to explore the cultural, social, scholastic, entrepreneurial diversity
  • Earn while Learn Program: Every student shall be required to undertake Experiential Learning to channelize their talent and energies,  and to develop appreciation for dignity of labour, and build the entrepreneurial mind-set.
  • Summer / Winter Internships for UG students: UG students shall be encouraged to undertake the internships with various academies, premier institutes, and industries.
  • Recognise the Student Passions: Institute student awards beyond academics in sports, cultural pursuits, social works, leadership initiatives to incentivise well-rounded education and all round development.
